Amy and Jason dreamed of a mountain wedding in Crested Butte, one of their favorite places to visit. Planning their wedding on a normally busy June weekend, they had some challenges finding the right venue. When the chosen venue imposed new 2021 COVID restrictions, the venue search had to start from scratch. With some creativity, a non-conventional space, The Big Mine Ice Arena was transformed into a beautiful reception site! As luck would have it, there was rain on their wedding day. Despite the drizzle, these two were able to make their family official in their ideal Ceremony location, Woods Walk. Warly on in the planning, Amy had expressed Jason’s passion for biking, and how cool it would be to have a tandem at their wedding. With the help of Wheels and Waves, Alpenglow Events was able to provide a last-minute tandem surprise.
